Annual Earth Day Game Show

To celebrate Earth Day, WILDE hosts an annual Earth Day Game Show, modeled after Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Since April 2003, the show has served as WILDE's signature event, helping us to make CNR students and faculty more aware of local and global environmental issues.

The show has its own unique, positive spin: attendees learn while having fun. Students and faculty volunteer in advance of and during the show to be contestants. Individually or in teams of up to 3, they strive to answer 5 questions of increasing difficulty, as well as increasing prize worth.

The event owes much of its success to Dr. Faith Kostel-Hughes, WILDE's advisor, who creates the majority of the questions, and to English professor
Dr. Nick Smart
, our host.
