Media
professionals look for experience when hiring. As a part of CNR's Communication
Arts program, you will gain that professional experience through internships
at major media organizations. Internships may be taken up to four times
during sophomore, junior, and senior years.
Often, students will use their internship to either validate career aspirations
or develop in a new direction. We encourage most students to do several
internships during their academic career to obtain the best understanding
of these industries. Internships are available in the following fields:
* Advertising
* Television: Broadcast and Cable
* Production: Film and Television
* Film: Distribution, Publicity
* Radio
* Marketing
* Music Recording
* Promotions & Event Coordinating
* Publishing: Magazine, Newspaper, Book, Internet
* Public Relations
* Journalism (Print or Electronic)
* Graphic Communications
* Internet and New Media
* Health Communication
* Education
* Social and Human Services
* Government/Politics
* Law
