Events
CNR offers a wide-ranging program and activities calendar. Trips to New York galleries and museums are scheduled regularly, as well as trips to the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) New Wave Performances. Trips take place as departmental events as well as in individual classes.
Extra-curricular opportunities augment CNR's on and off-campus creative opportunities. Students may participate on Phoenix, an annual literary and graphic magazine; Tatler, the campus newspaper; and Annales, the College Yearbook.

The Art Department sponsors a Visiting Artist lecture series. Recent artists have included Yoko Inoue, Willie Cole, Shazia Sikander,
Alison Saar, Jane Hammond, Lynn Yamamoto, Joe Amrhein, Rina
Banerjee, and Julie Heffernan.
After the lecture, a reception gives the students an opportunity
to speak further with the artists.
