The Woman of Conscience
Award 2012
As
President Judith Huntington completes her first year as CNR
President, the Sr. Dorothy Ann Kelly Woman of Conscience
Award will be given to Mother Cecilia Wang, OSU, Prioress
General of the Ursulines of the Roman Union in absencia.
Mother Cecilia, a native of Taiwan was educated by Ursulines
as a teenager, became a Catholic and eventually joined the
Ursulines after completing college. She was elected to lead
the world-wide Ursulines of the Roman Union in 2007.
The award will be presented
at an Academic Convocation to be held on October 12, 2012.
In addition to the Woman of Conscience Award, honorary
degrees will be conferred on Theodore Cardinal McCarrick,
retired Archbishop of Washington, DC and CNR’s own retired
Dean of the School of New Resources, Elza Dinwiddie-Boyd
