Final Project

1. Search the Internet and Gill library for information on your author’s life, work, lasting achievements, and role in his 15^th century country and church

2. Translate the Latin passage for your author in our text

3. List all your author’s Latin works and choose one to analyze, explaining your choice

            a. Give a detailed overview of the work and a general critical assessment based on research

            b. Choose one passage that you find meaningful to the essence and values of the man and his accomplishments: translate it and present the class both the Latin and English texts, assessing the Latin for its medieval qualities as well as its faithfulness to classical forms.

4. Write an essay (no more than 5 pages double-spaced in hard copy and e-form) about your author, reflecting on what ways he was a truly Medieval man. Provide an image.
