ROCHELLE TO HOST SEMINARS
ON CHILD ABUSE RECOGNITION AND REPORTING
NEW ROCHELLE, NY, July 3, 2007-- The College of New
Rochelle (CNR) will once again offer the Child Abuse Recognition and
Reporting seminar on its main campus in New Rochelle. The seminar is
approved by the New York State Education Department and designed for
licensed professionals, teachers, and school administrators who are
required to identify and report child abuse. It will cover the physical
and behavioral indicators of child abuse, maltreatment, and statutory
reporting requirements. Upon completion of the two-hour seminar,
attendees will receive certification from the State of New York.
The seminar, conducted by Gloria Benhuri, M.S., RN, will be offered on
the following dates:
• Tuesday, August 14
3 - 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 10 1 - 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, November 14 1 - 3 p.m.

The cost is $50 per person; pre-registration is required.
Registration deadlines are one week prior to the seminar date.
