Joan DeBello

St. John's University

Joan has been teaching at St. John's since 1999. Joan is a double alumnus of St. John's University, holding both a B.S. in mathematics and mathematical physics (1997) and an M.A. in mathematics (1999). She is currently a doctoral student at Teacher's College, Columbia University completing her Ed.D. in Mathematics Education in May. Joan has presented numerous papers on women in mathematics, sciences and related fields, mathematics as a game, and mathematics and sports at various conferences.
