CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is the key to many science-related careers.  The Chemistry Program provides the student with a strong background in the major branches of chemistry through a core of courses, the heart of which is the two-year physical-analytical sequence.  Chemistry majors are prepared to go on to graduate school, medical or dental school, or to pursue careers in pharmacology, forensics, patent law, research and more.

Unlike larger colleges, where many students compete for access to limited resources, you will be able to take full advantage of the Chemistry Department's exceptional facilities.  CNR's five labs are equipped with technologically advanced instrumentation and computer hardware and software.  The College Center also has tutorial programs in chemistry utilizing interactive laser videodisks and the touch screen Info Window system.
