Meghan,
where did you go to high school?
I went
to New Rochelle High School for my freshman year and then I was home
schooled.

Why did you decide to
attend The College of New Rochelle?
There
were many reasons. I wanted a college that had a good reputation. I
have heard from various teachers throughout the years that they were
doing their masters at The College of New Rochelle and that they loved
it. My sister also graduated from the College and she had a wonderful
experience. Another reason I selected CNR was because I wanted to be
close to home. I live only five minutes from campus. I also wanted a
place that would continue to assist me in growing into a strong-minded
and well rounded individual.
Being an
all women’s college, CNR gives me a perspective that I wouldn’t find in
many colleges or universities. While visiting campus, I found that I
loved the atmosphere of the school. The faculty and staff were
friendly, the buildings were beautiful, and there are so many things to
do in New Rochelle.

What class is your
favorite?
My favorite class thus far has been
Communication Arts taught by Dr. Roxanne Zimmer. It was a class that
took us from the beginnings of communication to where we are today. It
was one of those classes where you don’t want the hour to be over.

Of all the CNR
professors you've had, who are your favorites?
Some of my favorite professors have been
Dr. Zimmer and Dr. Anne Ferrari. These teachers really cared about us
as students and pushed us to do our absolute best.

How have you been
involved at CNR outside of your studies?
In my first year I decided that I would
not dive into anything without first getting used to the new
experience. Now that I feel comfortable, I plan to get involved with
Campus Ministry and with helping the community.

Do you know where you
are headed after graduation?
I would like to get my master’s in either
education or psychology or go to law school.
