Why did you decide to
attend Graduate School
at The College of New Rochelle?
I was an undergraduate here at CNR, and I
just didn’t want to leave. It is such a wonderful and warm community of
people.

What class was one of
your favorites?
I took an acting class with Laurie
Castaldo. We explored different acting techniques, we performed
monologues in front of a live audience and we were able to receive
feedback from our peers that helped to improve our acting style. The
class was unlike any class I had taken at CNR. I loved it!

Of all the CNR
professors you’ve had, who was one of your favorites?
As far as Graduate School is concerned, I
have only had one professor. In my undergraduate studies it is
extremely difficult to point out just one professor and it would not be
fair. I will say however that the professors in both the education
department and English department were fabulous and were always willing
to assist me.

How have you been involved at CNR outside
of your studies?
While I was an undergraduate here at
CNR, I was part of the Gospel Choir for four years. I was
also in a number of CNR Drama productions, and like many students,
I participated in midnight runs with the campus ministry, when we would
take food and clothing into the city to help the homeless.

Do you know where you
are headed after graduation?
I am
certified to teach middle school, high school and special education. I
am planning to teach in one of those areas for five years and then I
will pursue a second masters in School Building Leadership. Eventually
I would like to become a principal.
