An
awards ceremony and reception was held on Sunday, November 13, 2005 for
the 12th Annual High School Women Artists Competition. This year's show
was the largest in its 12-year history. The exhibition featured the
works of 121 artists from 38 high schools throughout the United States.
The highlight of the afternoon was when the winning and honorable
mention awards were announced in the Mooney Center's Romita Auditorium.
A reception followed for the artists, artists families, and sponsoring
teachers. It provided an opportunity for the artists to meet each other
and discuss their work with members of the Art
Department of the School of Arts & Sciences.
Congratulations &
Best Wishes
To All Those Who Participated!
