THE COLLEGE OF NEW ROCHELLE,
ALWAYS SOMETHING GOING ON!
A WEALTH OF
BOTH ON AND OFF CAMPUS
The numerous campus activities available
at CNR will help you sharpen vital leadership and communication skills
and have fun in the process. Intramural and intercollegiate sports, the
student theater group, student government, the yearbook, clubs, dances
and special events will provide opportunities to interact with fellow students

relaxing on one of the beaches of Long Island Sound, less than a mile from
In addition, many of our students
perform volunteer service through the Spring Break Plunge, and throughout
the year in a variety of community organizations, such as the HOPE Soup
Kitchen and local senior citizen centers.
There are also plenty of special
events, such as dances, lectures and dramatic productions for students
to attend both on and off campus.
The College of New Rochelle has long
recognized the importance of supporting academic life with visits from
guest lecturers and artists. In recent years, speakers have included
former First Lady of New York State Matilda Cuomo, Pulitzer-Prize winning
journalist and alumna Madeleine Blais, CBS reporter Magee Hickey,
award-winning actor Alan Alda, award-winning actress and alumna Mercedes
Ruehl, FOX anchorwoman Carol Jenkins, former Commissioner of the U.S. Securities
