He is co-author of a critical edition, in French, of Tocqueville’s Democracy
in America, and contributor to a half-dozen other books on Tocqueville.

After writing
The College of New Rochelle: An Extraordinary Story
to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the College, Dr. Schleifer
continued his research and will publish a more in-depth scholarly history
to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the College. We are very
proud to feature this distinguished faculty member who contributes so generously
